The Universal Declaration of Human Rights says you have rights AFTER you’re born.
Our birth is a woman’s gift, not the state’s gift. Because “all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. (We) are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.” In addition, “everyone has duties to the community” of nurturing families. And the exercise of those duties is “for the purpose of securing due recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others AND (emphasis mine) of meeting the just requirements of morality, public order, and the general welfare in a democratic society.” All of this is according to “the People of the United Nations’ ” Universal Declaration of Human Rights Articles 1 and 29.
Cruelty is the point of authoritarian conservatism
Our birth is a woman’s gift, not the state’s gift. And a human fertilized egg is not a person. But Ohio authoritarian Representative Gary Click rejects the American ideal that a person’s birth is a gift from a woman, not a legislature. Moreover, authoritarian Click rejects the empathic and responsible values of America’s greatest generation declared in 1948 that a person has been “born.” And reminiscent of our founders’ immoral definition of people as white male land owners, authoritarian Click’s Ohio House Bill 704 strips women of their birthrights of freedom and equality. Authoritarian Click and his anti-empathy allies have already forced a ten-year-old rape victim to flee Ohio’s cruelty and seek protection to end her pregnancy in Indiana. Ironically, authoritarian Click’s LinkedIn profile says, “One does not have to be caustic to be conservative.”
Women aren’t free if they’re scared for their lives.
Our birth is a woman’s gift, not the state’s gift. Now is the time for pro-empathy voters from those strong, nurturing families to stand up for women’s freedom and human rights. Ohio’s House pro-empathy minority leader Allison Russo predicts more horrific situations like the ten-year-old rape victim because of the barbarism of Ohio’s authoritarian-controlled General Assembly. All women’s lives are now endangered by anti-empathy authoritarianism. And women aren’t free if they’re scared for their lives. And children aren’t free if they’re scared for their mom’s life. And spouses aren’t free if they’re scared for their spouse’s life. Caring human beings and pro-empathy voters are the solutions.
